Ferro Alloy Plant To be Opened in Kutaisi

In Hualing Free Industrial  Zone 4 million U.S. Dollars was invested in Ferro alloy plant. Construction of the plant is completed. Installation of high voltage power cables is in progress, after completion of which the plant will start operation and employ more than 300 people. The plant will produce silicon as a result of charcoal and coal, quartz and petro coke treatment. Silicon is used in non-ferrous metal industry and it will be 100% exported. Row materials will be imported from various countries, including: Ukraine, Central Asia and former soviet countries.
